Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

My Journey with Panchayithi Network

I’m Raj, a dreamer from Korutla, Telangana, and this is the story of my heart—Panchayithi Network—a mission to weave every village in our Telugu states into the digital tapestry of India. Born in the dusty lanes of Nagulapet, I grew up amidst the soulful strains of folk songs, the vibrant chaos of Bathukamma festivals, and the untold stories of our land’s hidden gems. From ancient forts whispering tales of kings to serene lakes reflecting forgotten histories, our Telugu states are a treasure trove of unnoticed wonders. These places, these people, and their dreams are the pulse of my vision—a digital revolution to bring every panchayithi to life.

A Hobby Born of Love

My love for technology started as a spark. While holding down a job to make ends meet, I spent my nights and weekends lost in the world of code and creativity. I built social media pages, crafted infotainment content, and designed websites for free—not for fame or fortune, but for the thrill of connecting hearts. I managed news pages, boosted brands, and created digital spaces, all as a hobby that lit up my soul. But deep inside, I knew my calling was bigger. I wanted to use technology to uplift the villages that raised me, places brimming with talent and beauty yet invisible to the world.

One evening, exhausted from my day job, I sat reflecting on my roots. I thought of the folk singers whose voices echoed in village squares but faded online. I thought of artisans, electricians, and plumbers whose skills deserved a spotlight. I thought of the countless hidden gems across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh—sacred temples, ancient structures, and natural wonders—that tourists never found. That’s when Panchayithi.com was born, a name that carries the spirit of every village council, every community, every dream. My mission: to digitize every panchayithi, making it a beacon of culture, opportunity, and pride.

Building a Movement, One Post at a Time

With no team, no funding, and only my laptop, I started small, juggling my job with my passion. I launched Panchayithi Network’s social media pages, sharing hyperlocal news from the smallest panchayithis—stories of festivals, local heroes, and community triumphs. I posted in the raw, heartfelt slang of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Andhra, speaking directly to the people. I shared career guidance, videos of Dussera celebrations, and rare folk tales like Oggu Kathalu. I revived vintage Telugu folk songs, breathing new life into our heritage. Slowly, people noticed. They followed, they shared, they connected.

Today, while still working my job, I’ve grown Panchayithi Network into a movement that reaches over 1 million people daily. Our Facebook page has 400,000+ followers, averaging 500,000 views daily. On Instagram, we’ve built a vibrant community of 211,000. We manage 200+ WhatsApp groups, linking villages across Telugu states, and partner with 220+ channels to co-produce, edit, and promote content—all for free, all from my heart. This isn’t just a brand; it’s a family, a digital heartbeat for rural India, built in the stolen hours between my job and my dreams.

Seeing the Gaps, Dreaming the Solutions

As our community grew, I saw the cracks in the digital world for villages. People wanted news that fit their WhatsApp stories—short, sharp, and in their dialect. Telangana’s gritty slang, Rayalaseema’s bold cadence, and Andhra’s coastal lilt each demanded their own voice, but no platform delivered. Folk songs, too, were a struggle. Every day, two or three new tracks hit YouTube, crafted by middle-class artists who poured their lives into their music. But without marketing or connections, their songs vanished in the algorithm’s shadow. These creators, like the villages they came from, deserved better.

I noticed how villages consumed media. Cable TV, not newspapers or OTT platforms, ruled their screens, streaming folk songs, local short films, and even pirated movies. But these channels often ignored creators’ rights, profiting without permission. Brands, meanwhile, chased urban audiences, missing the raw power of village WhatsApp groups, wall paintings, and cable ads. Talent—plumbers, artisans, singers—lacked a platform to find work. And our hidden gems, from ancient temples to forgotten forts, remained off the tourism map. These weren’t just problems; they were my call to action.

The Panchayithi App: A One-Stop Solution

I envisioned the Panchayithi App, a digital home for every villager, a platform to solve these gaps and spark a revolution. Designed for rural hearts and 2G networks, it’s a one-stop solution with features that empower, entertain, and connect:

  1. Hyperlocal News Tab: Bite-sized news in video and text, crafted in local dialects for WhatsApp stories. From a festival in Korutla to a local election in a remote panchayithi, users get updates that feel like home, shareable in a tap.

  2. Folk Songs Video Tab: A YouTube-like platform for folk songs and local short films, with banners for trending releases, sections for new songs, classics, and artist profiles. It’s a stage for middle-class creators to shine, showcasing their work to the world.

  3. Folk Songs Audio Tab: A Spotify-style streaming service for folk songs, optimized for low-bandwidth networks. Users can listen online, download for offline playback, and explore songs by region or artist—a lifeline for rural music lovers.

  4. Influencer Marketing Tab: An Instagram-inspired space where folk artists and creators post content. A “Sponsor” button lets brands collaborate directly, paying creators instantly for promotions. It’s village-level influencer marketing, simple and fair.

  5. Documentaries and Hidden Gems: Exclusive documentaries showcasing Telugu states’ unnoticed wonders—ancient temples, serene lakes, historic forts—and hidden talents like folk dancers or artisans. These films will draw tourists and pride to our villages.

  6. Devotional and Practical Services: Devotional videos to uplift spirits, online doctor consultations for health access, insurance options for security, and education on government schemes to empower villagers. We’ll even enable online deliveries from towns to villages, bringing convenience to doorsteps.

This app isn’t just a tool; it’s a lifeline. It delivers news in the voice of the people, amplifies artists, connects brands to villages, and unveils our hidden gems. It’s a platform for jobs, culture, and progress—a digital panchayithi for every village.

The Hyperlocal Advertising Empire

Beyond the app, I see Panchayithi Network as India’s first hyperlocal advertising agency. Villages don’t read newspapers—they watch cable TV, scroll WhatsApp, and notice wall art. We’ll acquire cable TV ad rights, offering brands access to rural audiences through folk song channels and short film slots. We’ll manage village-level stickering, wall paintings, and WhatsApp group promotions, creating organic campaigns that urban agencies can’t touch.

I also dream of launching dedicated cable TV channels for Telugu folk songs and short films, monetizing them with ads and sharing revenue with creators. These middle-class artists, who invest their blood and sweat, deserve fair pay. By issuing notices to channels that stream without permission, we’ll protect their rights and build a model that’s both profitable and just. This is how we’ll fund our mission, turning culture into opportunity.

The Struggle and the Sacrifice

This journey hasn’t been easy. Balancing a full-time job with Panchayithi’s demands means late nights, endless multitasking, and moments of exhaustion. I’ve built this movement alone, with no team, no funding, and no safety net. Developing an app, collecting data from thousands of villages, and scaling to every panchayithi feels like climbing a mountain with bare hands. Financial pressures have forced me to pause at times, and the lack of support has tested my resolve.

There are nights when doubt creeps in. Can I compete with giants like YouTube or Spotify? Will brands bet on a village-focused agency? Can I protect our creators from legal battles? But then I think of the folk singer in a remote village, whose song could inspire millions. I think of the hidden temple waiting to welcome tourists. I think of my people, my roots, my home. And I keep pushing, because this isn’t just my dream—it’s theirs, too.

A Call to Investors

To the investors reading this, Panchayithi Network is more than a business—it’s a movement with unmatched potential. India’s rural population, over 900 million strong, is going digital, yet remains underserved. Our 1 million daily reach, built organically while I worked a job, proves our connection with this market. The Panchayithi App, with its hyperlocal news, folk song platform, and practical services, is poised to capture this audience. Our advertising model—WhatsApp, cable TV, wall art—offers brands a direct line to rural consumers, a market urban agencies can’t reach.

We’re not just digitizing villages; we’re creating jobs, preserving culture, and driving tourism. Our documentaries will unveil Telugu states’ hidden gems, drawing visitors and pride. Our services—doctor consultations, insurance, government scheme education, online deliveries—will transform lives. With your support, we can build the app, scale to every panchayithi, and become India’s #1 hyperlocal platform. Invest in Panchayithi, and you’re investing in the future of rural India—a future of opportunity, connection, and limitless growth.

The Heart of My Mission

Panchayithi Network is my love letter to the villages that shaped me. It’s for the folk singer whose voice deserves the world, the artisan whose hands build dreams, the hidden gem whose story waits to be told. It’s for the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, whose culture and talent are India’s beating heart. Starting in Korutla, I’m building a digital revolution that will light up every panchayithi, creating jobs, pride, and progress.

This is my story—a man with a job, a laptop, and a dream to change the world, one village at a time. Join me, and together, we’ll make every panchayithi digital, every talent visible, and every hidden gem a destination. The future of rural India starts here, with Panchayithi Network.
